I know how to be honest and engaging and pleasant, but I don’t know anything about affection. And being so old, how could I learn, and what would my only incentive be? Well, to have kids of course. What if I had a child with someone who I couldn’t stand? What is the personal significance of divorce? Well, it’s the idea of being successfully independent of your ‘spouse,’ while also directing all of your abilities to raising a child with split custody. What if a divorce intensifies and perpetuates stress? Well, I simply could not have that. I do not promote destructive relationships.

When my parents discussed divorce, I imagined what I would be like as the child of divorcees. Like I didn’t stick it through. Like I didn’t push hard enough to change and influence my parents’ opinions of each other. I can imagine my self in a legal office with someone who is asking me questions to identify the status of my psyche, like a psychiatrist or something. I would feel like half of a person. My parents loved me jointly, not separately. I often wondered what it would be like to be divorced. And I was like, where would I live? How far would I travel to see my kids? And how would my relationship be with my ‘spouse?’ and where did all the disrespect come from? I mean, you guys were the ones to make us. Did you really want something like this? Why was this solution more readily implemented before engaging arguments and discussions at to how to be a better husband or wife? Or did you guys already do that without my knowledge? And my other questions insist that you guys could have invested your personal ideas with us. Not your ‘respective’ ideas, but the ideas and secrets that were never revealed through your personality.
